How do I create Production groups and assign them to recipes?

How do I create Production groups and assign them to recipes?

This exercise will require permissions to see and edit Production Groups, and if you cannot see or edit these then you will need to reach out to your onsite admin for additional permissions. 


  1. Within Common Setup navigate to Production Groups, and select Create New Production Group


  1. Enter the name of the production, i.e. Prep Team 1, Salad station, Hot Line, etc. and select Save and Close. 


Your Production Group is now ready to be assigned to Recipes


  1. Navigate to Recipes, navigate to the Recipe in question, and double click to open the editor. 



  1. In the Production Group Drop-down select the appropriate Production Group for the Recipe. Note: the Production Group hyperlink will allow you to create a Production Group on the fly if needed. 


  1. Select save and Close and see the updated Production Group listed the Recipes Screen.
