Issue: My session has been marked as processed, but I still need to use it. Is there are a way to mark it as unprocessed?
Resolution: There is no way to un-mark a session as processed, but the session can be exported to a CSV file, and reimported into a physical, or other document.
Once logged into Yellow Dog navigate to the Sessions Module:
Select the session in question, double click to open the session editor and select Export.
Select Comma-Separated Values(CSV) & OK.
Name your file and note where you are saving the file so that you can locate it to import it into your physical later on.
Your file is now ready to imported into your Physical.
Navigate to the Physical Inventory Module and select Physical Inventories
Select Create New Physical
Select which store you would like to create the physical for
Confirm Add Active items is selected if you are doing a full physical and select from other options if you are performing a cycle count and select Next.
Yellow Dog recommends leaving the box Skip Items with zero on hand unchecked to ensure no items are missed and select Next.
10. You may need to initially highlight an item in the list, but then choose Select All xyz items...
Select Add Counts from an Excel, CSV, or text file and choose next
Select the three black dots to the right of Import File to navigate to the file you saved in Step 4.
If the file you are importing has a header then check the Box, Data has a header row with column descriptions. Match the column containing the SKU or UPC and the column containing the qty you counted and choose next. *as a note: these are the only two columns required for this.
Confirm that you would like to bring all the items from your file into the Physical, either choose Select All xyz… or highlight the items you wish to omit and choose Remove Selected.
You will now see you file appear as column, like any other session. If you need to bring in additional sessions that were counted on a device and not from a file you can now select Import Counts From to bring in other sessions as you normally would.
